L2S Tours BNSF Facility!

July 31, 2024

L2SKCK was blessed to have this opportunity to tour BNSF this morning. We were invited by a good friend of the club, Joe M. Madrigal. He is 4th generation working on the railroad of his family. 

Some cool facts: 

After the tour the kids were fed pizza, soda, and got a nice lunch bag with a thermal and some goodies inside. THANK YOU so much for the invite. We hope it will spark some career interest in students.

Project Clean Sweep

March 22, 2024

A BIG shout out to everyone who came out this morning to Project Clean Sweep. As you can see by the photos, we collected a lot of trash in our target zone of Tauromee to Elizabeth and 5th to 7th Streets. We collected beer cans/bottles, fast food packaging, plastic grocery bags, broken bottles, a couple of box springs and lots of plastic water bottles - oh the irony! Special thanks to LOWRIDING 2 SUCCESS KCK for the extra manpower and Hey Sugar on Strawberry Hill for the sweet reward!The biggest reward is a cleaner neighborhood. Stay tuned for our next Project Clean Sweep and another target zone. 


Happy 1st Anniversary L2S!

SURPRISE MR. C! Today was about so much! It was a regular Bike Club Day that turned into a great day of sharing, learning & celebrating of LOWRIDING 2 SUCCESS KCK! We shared a great meal of tortas & cake provided by Stephanie Jaramillo, Pizzas were delivered by Andy Vargas & Maria Garcia brought ice cream. We had a touching testimonial presentation by Luke and then he shared his talent of cutting hair & some of the youth are sporting some sharp cuts! We enjoyed the extended daylight & sunshine 😎 Our volunteers and supporters showed up and showed out! We are beyond grateful for each and everyone that graces our club.  Thanks To All!



Accepting a Proclomation from the State of Kansas

Never did we imagine to be awarded a proclamation from state representative Melissa Oropeza. It was truly an honor to be invited to the State Capitol and to witness our students reaction was inspiring and priceless.



World of Wheels

February 2, 2024

Saturday and Sunday we were also blessed to attend World Of Wheels at Bartle Hall. I’m so proud of our youth for stepping up and explaining the program to hundreds of and hundreds of people. We also earned FIVE awards!!! Please don’t ask me what place or bike category because I was more Happy to see our youths reaction when they mentioned our name. It was truly the highlight of the the night to see how happy and proud they were to be acknowledged for their hard work. Shoutout to all our volunteers, supporters and friends for coming out to support our youth. 



Turner Days Parade

Latino Arts Foundation

Showcasing our bikes at the 2023 Chicano Arts Festival. We Got a trophy for 3rd place in the bike competition!

Our first ever car meet and fundraiser event!

When: October 1st, 2023 4-8 PM

Where: American Fusion Wheels & Tint - 12310 W 62nd Ter Shawnee, KS 66216

What: Everyone is welcome! $20 to enter your vehicle or bike into the show. Don't have a bike or car? No problem, come on down and join the fun. Food vendors and live DJ will be onsite. 

Special Guest: Peter Vazquez (Chivo) from the big screen movie "Blood In Blood Out" will be hosting a meet and greet.







People came from all over, and from out of state to support our youth.

The donations that poured in will keep us moving forward and helping more of our youth.

We are grateful to all who participated and organized this event, specially Rudy Perez and Jennifer Yvette you guys were truly the heart beat!

Car clubs, motorcycle clubs, vendors, parents, volunteers, friends, dancers, singers, photographers, La Plaza Tattoo & Art Gallery, Rico cutz for providing free haircuts and strangers we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Open House

Come tour our clubhouse and see the lowrider bikes our students have been working on! We will once again be open for the last "Third Friday" event of the year.  Our clubhouse is located on 423 N 6th street. Join us on October 20th to close out a very successful and fun summer!

Our students were invited to attend the KC Monarchs game in style! We were generously offered to enjoy the game in the Wyandotte County's Suite!

Latino Festival!

Networking and Showcasing is vital for our youth to reimagine their lives! Memorial weekend we attended the Latino Festival at KC Monarchs Field. We received a lot of support and praise at the festival!

A Dream Has Come True! The ribbon cutting ceremony was a moment in time that we will not forget! We are beyond appreciative of our youth members, our landlords, our executive board members, volunteers, and those that took time to come by and let us share our vision for reimagined lives.

Tour of Dimensional Innovations

November 30, 2023

Our members were invited to tour the facility of Dimensional Innovations (DI). DI is design, build, and technology firm here in the Kansas City metro and has completed several iconic projects including the Al Davis Memorial Torch for the Las Vegas Raiders in Allegiant Stadium.

Students had the opportunity to learn about the entire design and implementation process. Engineers showed the students the technology they use, including a large 3D printer, and the process they gro through to create projects.
